Meet Kelly
Do you want to more balanced approach to your relationships with yourself and others? After decades of working in a stressful profession, I know what that feels like!
I am a lawyer/sociologist who teaches law and human behavior classes (family law, domestic violence law) at UC Law San Francisco (formerly Hastings College of the Law). Years of stress from teaching, writing, and family responsibilities led me to meditation and stress management classes.
Then, I discovered mindfulness and compassion programs, such as Compassion Cultivation Training at Stanford University School of Medicine; the Mindful Self-Compassion Program founded by Kristin Neff and Chris Germer; Mindful-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT) developed by Jean Kristeller at Indiana State University; and Mindful-Based Stress Reduction developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. These programs helped me learn how to treat myself with kindness, honesty, and compassion.
I loved the programs so much that I wanted to teach them! I hope you’ll join me for this mindful journey to develop a more balanced relationship with your body and yourself.
